Varnava Design Studio was founded in 2006 and it is a full service architecture and design firm, specializing in custom residential design.
We are based on the island of Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale with projects located all over South Florida.
We strive to provide our clients with our design and construction expertise while providing the most enjoyable experience during the planning, design and construction phase.
Yianni Varnava
DESIGN PRINCIPAL
Yianni Varnava is the principal of our Studio and the Chief Design Officer.
He is originally from the Island of Cyprus and his native language is Greek.
From a very young age, he found a great interest in the Art of Architecture and Construction. In 1997 he arrived in the US to pursue his higher education in the state of Michigan. After receiving his Bachelors in Fine Arts he moved to South Florida where he started working with the most well-known architecture firms on the Island of Palm Beach. Soon after, he decided to pursue his Master of Architecture and in 2006 he founded Varnava Design Studio.
When he is not designing beautiful homes, Yianni loves to spend time with his wife and two beautiful daughters.
Mauricio Caro
company director
Mauricio Caro is the Director of our Studio. He holds a Masters of Architecture and he is a licensed Architect in the State of Florida.
He was born in a family of general contractors and he always aspired to be involved in the Architecture and Construction industry. He has a vast experience in educational, commercial and residential projects.
In addition, Mauricio has been a mentor in the "ACE" program. This program helps introduce "Architecture, Construction and Engineering" fields to local high school kids who will eventually follow this as a career path.
